Ratings and Reviews
Great at first, but...
UPDATED: I changed my review to 4 stars because while I didn’t see in the notes that the display audits would be temporary, I could have missed it. I was told that the other visits would be reoccurring, but that could have been a staff mistake. There is still very little communication, but I think that’s just how this kind of thing works. You have to be motivated, you have to be a self starter and really self reliant/confident. If you do the job, you will get paid. That’s one thing I do like about this company. They fairly pay you for all the time you take to do a job (and sometimes there are extra incentives to get it done faster).
I'm not sure if it's a staffing issue or what, but my assignments kept disappearing and then that whole category along with my previously assigned reoccurring promotional display audit visits disappeared. My messages don't get replies anymore, it's almost like they just want new people instead of steady, consistent, reliable people. Yes, I did start one assignment a little late in the day, but I had spent twice as long as originally indicated on 2 projects that day to make the deadline. I'm really bummed because it seemed like this was going really well, and this happens. Maybe it's just an error, but to just delete all the projects with no communication is strange and not a very nice way to treat someone.
Developer Response ,
Hi - Thanks for your review. The reason those assignments went away is because they were for a training project. There is a limit to how many you can do, and once you've proven yourself, they're no longer available. This was explained in the project details, and we have a large staff that answers everyone. Please feel free to contact me at email@example.com if you have other questions.
If you don’t already know retail, do some reading first.
This has always been what I have done, so most things, displays, resets, facing, and other retail language, are second nature. Customer service is an automatic response for me and I love it all. I had to quit my passion due to illness and having this company give me a way to do it again is fabulous! The pay is fair, send when expected and the time limits are reasonable. When I read through the articles on the Q&A page I took it as a community coordinator would be one person I would interact with all the time or even a couple different, but it is nothing like the way they describe it. The jobs are great, from the business point this company has it going on but, it has random people answering maybe, some of the things you ask through the support page or message place in the app, which is frustrating. It can be unorganized and some responders seem to just barely skim my questions. I think a couple tweaks here and there and this company’s app could go far, but others are coming and one with it all may just take over.
I wish I could rate this app higher because the jobs and extra pay are great and all, but the support staff hasn’t really been much help lately. I have submitted a number of requests for certain jobs annnnnd of course nothing, no response, not even a decline or disapproval which is super frustrating. At first I’d receive responses the same day and now...nothing. Heaven forbid you have an emergency where you have to cancel assignments, such as a child not breathing, they will automatically decrease your rating and make it so you can’t request or claim any jobs.
Granted, per their instructions if you contact them to cancel they will consider it on a case-by-case basis. But I guess someone not breathing isn’t considered a “plausible reason” to cancel your assignments. Yes, I have emailed and used the in app support forum to submit the question and request to have those not counted against me. But of course no response. So all in all this company has great potential and if you do need to make some extra money, are self motivated, and a really good self starter this is a good place to start. Just don’t count on getting much help from support staff if you run into a hiccup even tho they have a “large” number of staff to respond to questions and requests. Will still give them a chance, but not really depending on this particular company as a main side hustle.
