My experience

First of all, i was doubt about the QUALITY of the products , so i chose some of the products that i like , than before i purchased them , i went to the original store by googling them , i compared the PRICES and QUALITIES, after that i came back to JUMIA store , i did purchasing, i ticked the PAIEMENT after DELIVERY... then yeaaah i got my products after few days ..
they look good as i wanted them to BE
Ps: the only problem is that the delivery time was late by 2 days as scheduled.. but it's OKEY

Jumia need to develop their app on the side of payment

Jumia need to develop their app on the side of payment. Not everybody are using debit card to purchase their product, at least they should be able to add a direct bank transfer on the app for a second option in order for non card user to send money directly for shopping via the app and boom order made easy for us.

Now let me explain. What I mean is this; on the option of using debit card, they should add bank transfer so every user can choose their respective bank and enter their account number with the total amount of the order and Jumia will debit the respective amount on the purchase.

Express means nothing to these guys

After ordering a bunch of items of which two were supposed to be delivered within 24hrs(express), I get a quote that goes beyond 24 hrs and I figured it was for the whole cart and not the particular items that were supposedly express delivery items. It’s been over 5 business days now and still no delivery notice and to make things worse two items from the order end up being cancelled as out of stock. Why wasn’t this indicated during checkout?
I called their customer care yesterday and got different messages, one says deliver will be made today other says today their deliver staff don’t work. Like seriously, this is so messy. I have never received any item on the exact day it’s expected.
This is why I never use mobile money to make payments on your store as you are still lacking at so many levels to be trusted to deliver.
