I've tried plenty of world clock apps, and this is the one that stuck — largely because of one widget I haven't found done like this anywhere else. It's a proper Geochron-style view: a world map with day and night moving across it, and your cities pinned on the map with their local times. Beautiful, and instantly readable in a way a list of clocks never is.I was corresponding intermittently with people in Indonesia over a few days and found myself glancing at my iPad Home Screen without even thinking about it — there was Jakarta, just at dawn, so I knew exactly what sort of hour I was writing into. No opening an app, no mental arithmetic, no counting forward nine zones. Just second nature. The rest of the app holds up the same way: clean analog and digital clocks, easy to add and rename cities, a useful convert tool for future times, and sunrise/sunset information where you want it. Widgets everywhere — Home Screen, Lock Screen, StandBy, and more. The developer deserves a mention of his own. Adam actually answers his email, personally and promptly, and feedback is listened to and acted on — a rarity, and a big part of why the app keeps getting better with each iOS release. Pro is a small one-time purchase, no subscription, which I also appreciate. It has prime real estate on my Home Screen, and it's earned it.
