I have had this app in the past, and it seemed to be OK as far as I recall. I had to re-download it today, and formatting of the text was terrible on the iPhone. I deleted the app, re-downloaded it, and it’s the same. There’s text embedded along the top line in the title of the app when you try to use it. When you switch over to an item, such as beef, and tap on the cooking tab, the items do not format correctly, and nothing is interactive. The cooking times are zero. It’s just poorly executed on the iPhone at this point.

I find this app really helpful. The only thing I wish is that under each meat it had a tab for how long raw meat will last in the fridge before cooking, a tab for how long it will last once cooked and a tab for cooking information. Right now it has two of those tabs. One with how to cook the meat but I am not always clear weather the meat is raw or cooked regrading self life storage information. Having a clearly marked tab for each with shelf life info for both circumstances would be even more helpful.Thank you!LP

I have used this app before and it worked good. It was a little hard to understand on some food items as to which time frame to use depending on the food and how it was stored, but generally was helpful. I redownloaded the app today to use again for work, and it is blank. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and no go. I can’t see any categories and any search I try to do always comes up “no results”. Please fix!

Too many flaws that would be so easy to fix if they tested it and then fixed issues found. It works a basic level ... if you really need it. Enhancement: provide scaled flagging of danger of consuming past exp date: one x taste bad 3x does not work. 6 x will make kids sick 10 x will kill you provide way to search and list foods based on danger to health or probability of recipes failure due to being to old
