Momento Premium and Momento Premium Gold is an auto-renewing subscription. Momento will automatically charge your iTunes Account at the end of your subscription or free trial period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of your current period. You can turn off auto-renew at any time and still receive full functionality until the end of your current period, but no refunds can be provided for unused portions of the subscription. Subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal can be turned off by going to Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited if any subscription in Momento is otherwise purchased. Subscriptions cannot be shared using Family Sharing.
If you have previously purchased Momento Premium or any of the individual features through our previous in-app purchase options, you can use the 'Restore Purchases' option in the 'Premium' settings screen to restore access.

I’m a real reviewer. Momento is such an easy to you and amazing app that becomes some what of a library of (in my case) revelations, insights, dreams…. The way the app is structured is really helpful. The free version is seriously good, however after reading the notes about the small development team in England that created this and the integrity the note seemed to convey that they honor I signed up for the annual subscription. I know that it will only enhances my already good experience. I remember one time a few years ago for some reason I lost all of the journal entries and I hadn’t yet exported a back up copy from the app. I was so sad about this and in shock, I messaged the developers and I for sure prayed and seriously, I think 2 weeks later, all of the entries were restored and for years since the app has been amazing. I especially like that there no outside sales ads!! Happy user here, who has recommended this app to others who also seem to be happy with it. Worth the paid subscription- in part just because of the awesome team behind this alone. You can tell heart and determination went into this.

So I sprung for the paid version, the annoyances got to be too much. At first I stumbled around with things like ‘location’ until I figured out you need to click on ‘Current Location’ to search other areas (seems clunky). The whole process of attaching photos is still a bit confusing… deciding to keep existing photo info OR inherit from the ‘Moment’. Backup & Restore are clunky too… if it syncs to iCloud why must I manually sync between devices. Sometimes I’m not sure if I made any changes on my other device they will be wiped out after syncing OR changes on my current device will be overwritten. As for “sharing”, simply sending a photo of your Momento screen doesn’t really constitute “sharing”. And why the “Feeds”? Do people really want to post to Facebook or Instagram first, then have Momento scrape their feed to populate Momento? Maybe I’m unusual in that regard. Also, I’d really, really like to “share” with another Momento user, like you can do with ’Notes’ in iOS. My travel partner can’t see what I’ve documented, unless of course I show her my screen. How ridiculous is that? I realize the development team is small but it’s obvious that they’re looking to increase revenue by creating obstacles and removing previous functionality. Not a good business model from a customer perspective. I like the main concept and app interface, just tempted to continue my search for a better tool at this point. Oh, and after paying for the subscribed version it reverted back to the free version… had to do a “restore”. Maybe the developer will review the product design and their decisions.

To begin. I have used Momento (Classic) for about a decade. I enjoyed the format of the app, and easy ability to capture random thoughts, events, etc., and have them nicely preserved. Fast forward, there was an iOS update and the app (Momento Classic) ceased to function. I was in a panic to try to recover all the notes I captured, some very important and regularly useful to me. It seemed there may not be a workaround.Long story short, I had moved on, sad that I no longer had the app, and skeptical to use the “new” updated Momento app given my experience with trying to recovery my “data”. Momento support contacted me with a solution to the app to work in the new iOS. I have been able to access my data and import it into the new Momento.And that is the important experience. Momento provided support to the needs of a user of their app. I received follow up responses with solutions to my issues, even after I had resolved myself to the idea there was no solution & I thought my experience with Momento was sadly over. I am impressed with Momento support for providing a solution to an issue I had with their app during an iOS update. And I am hopeful, to continue to utilize this highly functional and useful app. Lessons:1. Set up data backup to ensure you’ll always have access to your notes. 2. Leverage the app’s support resources. There are good resources available on their website, which extends the apps usefulness. Worth being familiar with what is available. Nice job Momento! This app has changed my life

I originally downloaded this app just for overseas trips, and I was only using it for that reason. But then I realized what an opportunity I was missing. This app makes journaling/recording/record keeping so easy. Even though I am a writer, sometimes I just don’t have the time or energy to write out everything, so I just do a quick video update and put it in the app. You can take pics and vids of parties and get-togethers. You don’t have to junk up your phone space or organize anything- just use the the app and it’s automatically stored by date. Also, it’s the reason I now feel free to throw away birthday cards etc . Usually, I’m too sentimental to throw them away and they just clutter things, but now I can just capture them and store them in my Momento. LOVE it.
