Description
The inKind App takes the difficulty out of tracking credit spending and ensures that you get VIP treatment at your favorite local business. Within the app, you can check, redeem, and share credit on your VIP House Accounts bought from one of inKind's partner restaurants, bars, and other businesses.
CHECK CREDIT BALANCE
See how much credit you have to use in your favorite business. Will it be a champagne popping night or will the happy hour menu be your new best friend?
REDEEM CREDIT
Leave your wallet at home and complete all your credit transactions on the inKind App. Your credit card can be linked to allow you to tip your server/bartender when they do an awesome job looking after you.
SHARE CREDIT
Treat your friends, family or a hard-working employee by sharing some of your credit with them. They will receive an email notification and can head straight into your business and enjoy the credit you have given them.
EXPLORE RESTAURANTS AROUND YOU
Use the map to browse venues in your area, or in cities you're traveling too across the country.
GIVE FEEDBACK
Sometimes a restaurant tries something new and misses the mark, or hires someone that maybe isn’t the best fit. Provide private feedback that will help them get better, without destroying their Yelp rating.

Ratings and Reviews
Fantastic app - I highly recommend
I downloaded this app only because it was part of Amex offers. I kept seeing it Amex app again and again and decided to download it. And it’s been a great decision.
I absolutely love this app. In 3 months I have been using this app in NYC, I have easily saved over $200. Even without the Amex offer, the monthly fee for the app is worth all the money and more.
I would also recommend because through the app I found two great restaurants in NYC - Kanyakumari and Kabob aur sharaab.
I also had great experience with their support team. For some reason, I didn’t get the monthly $50 promo in my account, they added it without any questions asked.
Only small issue I have faced - in places where the internet connection isn’t great, you won’t be able to pay using the app. Happened to me once in Maman but haven’t happened since.
True Food
I just left True Food and my experience was exceptional! This was my second visit, the first being for a friend’s 40th birthday a couple weeks ago. Our server this time was the most pleasant Jewel and she really was top tier. From the beginning she did such an eloquent job explaining the mission and beliefs of True Food. She checked on us regularly and I definitely was never parched. Jewel gave updated on our food and made sure everything was to our liking. Just like Jewel, her recommendation of the flourless chocolate cake was a top tier ending to our meal. Until next time. Thank you Jewel for a great dining experience.
App Did Not Pay My Bill - Very Embarrassing! Avoid!!!
I’ve used InKind three times. The last time I used it, it failed to pay the restaurant. The restaurant was kind to me in the situation fortunately.
I contacted customer service to ask what happened and to make sure the restaurant got paid. Cristy assured me the restaurant was paid, and confirmed that I would owe InKind $93 as I expected.
I have been asking them to process this $93 payment for SIX MONTHS, and they’ve refused because Cristy is inexplicably stuck on asking me to pay more money for additional gratuity, (again, on a bill from six months ago).
This week, I gave Cristy a deadline and said that if they didn’t take the $93 I would assume they’ve gifted the meal to me because I can no longer be responsible for their accounting. I don’t get paid for this.
Cristy chose to continue to again argue about gratuity, and I take that as a clear sign, after six months, that they have no interest in taking my money.
I’m actually sad about this because I was enjoying the app, when it worked. The creators and owners of this app need to demand to see Cristy’s email chain with me and see how she’s losing money for your company.
Avoid this app at all costs! You risk being humiliated at the restaurant when the app fails, and then a ridiculously difficult process should you try to fix it.
I never had to contact them and ask to pay this. I was trying to do the right thing. This is unbelievable.
