Welcome to inkl, the last news app you’ll ever download. We show you the world’s most interesting and important news, from sources you know and trust.

Enjoy brilliant reporting and analysis from publishers you don't see on other news apps, like The Economist, Bloomberg, Financial Times, Foreign Policy, and hundreds of others around the world.

See stories curated to inform and surprise you, and make it easier and faster for you to follow news that matters to you. We don’t care about selling ads (inkl is ad-free) or going viral (inkl is a paid service where you are the customer, not the product). So instead of clickbait and fake news, we show you news you won’t see elsewhere, like our Good News feed, which starts you off with three positive stories every morning. Or our Analysis feed, which pulls together the latest long reads from publishers like The Financial Times and BusinessWeek. You can also dive deeper into related articles below every story that help you really understand the news, overcome biases, and burst the social media filter bubble.

Try inkl for free with a no-obligation 7-day trial. We don’t charge you automatically, so there’s no need to cancel if you don’t like what you see. Just tap ‘download’ and enjoy the world’s best news coverage, completely free for a week.

WOW

I’ll be honest here, I almost didn’t give this app a try bc I simply just can’t afford the $10/month subscription fee, but I’m so so happy I decided to take advantage of the free trial bc this is the news app of my DREAMS. I downloaded it this morning thinking I’d give it a quick browse while I was drinking my coffee and then cancel my free trial. Well, my “quick browse” ended up being an intense 6 hour long immersion. 6 HOURS! I’m blown away by the quality and sheer volume of articles available, and every article I read was so edifying. I cannot recommend this enough: the UI is intuitive and aesthetically satisfying, the categories are simple, accurate, and well organized, the content is credible, unbiased, and factual, and it is somehow the perfect app for every type of reader, from the news junkie to the casual browser. I feel like I’ve learned more in the last 6 hours than I have watching the news every day for the last 6 years.

The only - and I mean ONLY- negative for me is the subscription price. I think the price is more than fair, but it’s just not something I can afford after being impacted by covid. To the developers: phenomenal job! Y’all have created something beautiful and I can’t wait until I’m able to support what you’re doing w/a subscription.

Great news app!

This was the news app I’ve been wanting! It’s straight forward and easy to use without all the clickbait and random ads littering the page. You can customize what sources you want to receive news from and make your own tags to follow stories that are more topic specific. I’m still in my free trial, but the content and the app are good enough to make me seriously consider buying a subscription. I was a bit deterred by the subscription price per month being $10, in comparison with apps like Reuters and even Apple News, which are free for the most part. But for some new sources like The Washington Post and The Economist you need to have a subscription to their specific periodical to gain access to certain content. I can see how the $10 inkl price could be worth it in that regard. One flat fee per month for access to all those periodicals except WSJ and Barron’s (which i don’t read anyway).

No ads, every article. I’ve uninstalled Apple News

I was paying for Apple News +, but even paying for it, would run into articles I couldn’t read due to paywalls. Plus they were still filled with horrible ads.

Inkl? No ads, a better reading experience, and I can read 100% of the articles listed in the various feeds. A much better experience, and well worth paying for if you’re interested in actually reading actual news articles.
