I just wanted a simple stopwatch to track my rest time and an alert to start my next set. I would love to have larger buttons like two big circles for lap and pause or restart. It would also be nice to have some kind of counter to show how many sets I have completed. But overall, I really love this app. ***Update*** What a great improvement from the last version, at some point I was afraid of the app losing support but I was proven wrong. I truly believe the developer read the email I sent him long ago, because now the app does everything I wanted and I had been looking for an app like this for a long time and even better. My previous timers got deleted but it was not a big deal because with the app now I was able to set the time for my rest and how many rounds I needed which made it easy to set up the timers again.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review, joannothing. And yes, you are 100% correct - I personally read every email that comes in. So glad you're loving the update!
(Update) IT’S Now Very Complicated

Update: I took some time and eventually figured it out. It’s really still a great app. I use it for many things, but my cold showers are where it really shines. Instead of trying to endure 2 minutes, I calmly count the 30 second alerts until I’ve reached 2 minutes. (Old review): I loved the BeepWatch! I paid for no ads and it was very reasonable. But I was just “grandfathered-in” to BeepWatch pro and now the timers I created are gone and creating new timers is ridiculously complicated. Why would you do this? Can you un- “grandfather“ me? I want my old BeepWatch back.
Developer Response
So glad to hear you got it sorted out and are now enjoying the new version, Trav! Great to have you back! OLD RESPONSE: Sorry to hear the new BeepWatch is not to your liking. Unfortunately, the old version hadn't been updated in quite some time and was soon to be removed from the App Store. If you go into settings, and turn off "Advanced Mode", the interface should be nearly identical to the old version. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly at https://bit.ly/WriteScottDeSapio if you're still having trouble.
Works... kind of
How Awesome is my God
The watch itself functions well. The beep can get annoying, but I think that is mostly because I use it while listening to other apps and it blares kind of loud. However, early on I purchased the pro version through the app, but it has never taken effect. I sent a message to the developer through the app and never heard back and no solution presented itself. Even attempting to restore purchases, or purchasing again, I get a message saying I’ve already purchased it and it will be restored automatically for free... but the. I bring the app back up, because it is playing in the background for my purposes, and have to wait through ads every time before I can close them, close the option to buy (again) the pro version to get rid of ads, and then I can get to stopping the timer. This might be okay with other apps, but not a stopwatch timer... time counts... it’s kind of the point.

RE: "The beep can get annoying..."In the settings of your timer, you can actually change the default sound, or you can shut the beep off entirely and just have the app vibrate and/or flash the screen instead. RE: "I purchased the pro version through the app, but it has never taken effect."This is very odd. If you could please try writing to me again at https://bit.ly/Write-Scott I would really like to see if we can't get the issue resolved. If all else fails (which I can't imagine to be the case), we can certainly provide you with a complimentary promo code to unlock the app.Best,Scott
Looking for this app!

Working out with intervals needs this app. Found this and it helps me follow my regiment without thinking I can be a bit lazy in-between my sets. Keeps me in track and guilty if I get out of rhythm. Needs one last suggestion: A end-of-time countdown because it could be an odd number that is not a interval number to end the whole program.
• Changing Default Interval Options on a timer now updates every interval right away, without an extra confirmation. App-wide defaults under Settings still ask when that would overwrite customized timers.
• Added a new global "Clock Animations" option in Settings -> Appearance. When enabled, the main timer counter will animate smoothly when the time format is set to MM:SS. When disabled, the digits will swap instantly. Note that the animation eats more CPU and battery, so it's disabled by default.
