Description
Be the director and take control of the story with this interactive film that follows three strangers whose lives intersect in post-civil war Cambodia. By using the innovative split-screen technology, you’ll enjoy a fully immersive cinematic experience.
Invisible World puts the story in your hands.
By manipulating the three separate panels on screen, you can create your own film with multiple perspectives of the same story. The film, based on actual events that occurred in Cambodia in 1994, focuses on three different people: Jeff, a reckless young North American working in Phnom Penh as an English teacher, Dr. Von, an intelligent and insightful man practicing medicine in his war-torn country, and Channa, the mother of a young boy whose drowning unites all three characters.
The borders between East and West, past and present, and life and death dissolve as you travel through beautifully shot scenes that expose the poverty, drugs and crime that permeate the country. You’ll meet western expatriates like Jeff, who take advantage of the country without forming any real connection, and people who live there, like Dr. Von, who must deal with the fallout.
Blurring the lines between documentary and fiction, this free app offers the rich experience of interactive video while still retaining the rhythm, momentum and emotional impact of a traditional film.

Ratings and Reviews
Not For Everyone
But particularly I enjoyed it. It depicts the sad descriptions of events from the viewpoint of three different speakers. A woman, a man, and another man. The three speakers relate their stories in their unique style and skillfully weave mental images and subject their audience to feel the emotions presented. The details and storyline is conveyed in a way that isn’t sexually explicit, nor is it violent or graphic, making it suitable for children. Downside: For some, this can be tedious to view, and it can be difficult to comprehend at times. But I enjoyed it, and I’m a 14-year-old.
