iPowerRocket is an application that allows an amateur rocketeer to perform all the calculations for rocket design and flight planning on his or her iPhone or iPod touch. It includes tools for barrowman CP computation, flight simulation, calculating ejection charges, dimensioning parachutes and a flight log, all in one application.

Works well, but a bit complicated at first
I bought this to replace software that ran on an old Palm Pilot and to also avoid having to bring my laptop to the field. I work with high school students flying rockets and it's nice to be able to run a sim at the field to make sure the motor choice is correct, etc. The biggest issue I've had so far is entering a rocket design seems too complicated. It would be great to have a single screen to enter all the basic dimensions, and then have the opportunity to edit it further if needed. The sims matched other software I use that runs on laptops and the motor database is current, which is a big plus. If I had the ability to quickly enter a rocket diameter and weight for a fast sim I'd give it five stars. The students I worked with thought it was great to see something that used real 'rocket science' on an iPhone.
Imperial units no longer works.
Along with imperial units no longer working, if you select anything off in the settings, it doesn’t come back on. Should have left the old version installed. This is on an IPhone 6S, IOS 11.2.
Program constantly crashes
The rocket and motor selection works OK. Whenever you choose a subheading under recovery the program crashes.
