I love this app and the SmartTub feature on my new Jacuzzi spa. I'm so glad I added the SmartTub module. Our spa is located at a vacation home in the mountains so the app gives us the ability to monitor the spa while we're away. It's particularly nice to be able to pre-heat the spa while we're headed home from a day of skiing. I love being able to change the temperature, turn the jets on or off as well as the lights remotely. On several occasions we've been able to monitor and maintain the spa while renters were using the property. It also gives me access to the manual and a link for ordering supplies. It has definitely saved me a lot of time and is super convenient. Functionality has been good, haven't had any bugs or crashes. The convenience is invaluable.
Rough around the edges, but mostly functional
It's buggy, but let's face it: Jacuzzi is not a software company. This is a convenience app, not something you depend on. For the price of their tubs, the size of the company, and the annual fee, I hope this will improve in time. I imagine the price of the service is for the cellular service, so I can't complain about that too much, but I still know they're making money on that fee.
Keep it up, and see if they can add features for better color selection (would love to be able to choose pink) and speed of the cycling LED colors (right now it's only on or off)

Cost per year
I believe the coat is $35 per year after the first year.
We have had our for about two months now and have no issues. Connectivity is great and it is nice to be able to check on spa status from an app and not have to navigate the menu on the tub.
We just wish Jacuzzi would move the control panel off to the side rather than centered on the spot where you enter and exit the spa. That small change would make the spa more user friendly and would remove parental worries as the children climb in and out over the control panel.
We love our J470!
