I use the app frequently
We travel a lot so I use the app to manage my single tall refrigerator & single tall freezer. I Like to be able to change settings as we come & go. But what irks me to know end is not getting a real time temp reading. It was especially irritating recently when my freezer wasn’t working correctly, and I had to keep opening the door to check the temp, my husband actually pulled the door handle off so I had to buy another since the thread were strip. It does had a strong vacuum. Please add real time temps on the next app update.
Love my new columns. App is weak.
Love my new SubZero freezer and refrigerator columns. They are definitely 5 star! I expected more from the app. No problems connecting but it does drop the appliance occasionally and finds them again when you shut down the app and restart. Annoying. Heres my main beef. The app doesn’t show the actual temperature. If you can show the set point why can’t you show me the actual temperature without me having to open the refrigerator? Other stuff has to be done by opening the doors also. Doing more on the app would certainly make things more efficient than standing there with the door open while you’re working on a setting of some kind. Doesn’t make sense. Hoping for more functionality in future app updates, please!
Pairing is unstable
My 8 Sub-Zero appliances of various types will not stay paired with the app despite running through the process twice now. They initially pair successfully, and then later, they will not stay paired when trying to use the app. After pairing successfully, each time I open the app, the appliances appear as designed for a few seconds, and then suffer authentication issues and the ask for pairing again. After two times pairing 8 appliances, with the same results, I'm not going through the pairing process again.
Also, the appliances only appear on one iPhone, and will not appear on another device (like my iPad) even when logging in with the same account.
Great in concept, but poor in execution, not worth the trouble.
