Wonderful learning app so far!
I’ve been studying Japanese for the past few months now, and I’ve been getting a little sick of the apps that I’ve been using, so I just happened to find this lovely game (^v^). If you’re curious as to what other programs I’ve been using, I’ll just give you a quick list w/ little to no description about them: Lingo deer+ (lots of memorization things and was roughly $60, but it was totally worth it imo), Busuu (my favorite of the bunch because it has lessons, it’s free (if you want), and it enables you to help others learn English/whatever you speak while they help you learn Japanese), Duolingo of course, and Manabi Reader (gives you Japanese text to read. It’s also for all levels).
This app helps a lot because it makes continuing to learn Japanese less of a challenge since it’s teaching me in a fun and playful manner.
Good luck out there,
Logan C.

Hi! I play your game, “Japanese Dungeon” and really enjoy it. I think the concept behind it is great! I love that you have child-appropriate ads and would definitely recommend this to others interested in learning Japanese! The ONE downside (that I think could really improve the game) however is that even after completing “Level 1 Dungeon” you still have to pay (in-game currency) to unlock future levels (on the upside you can do the infinite dungeons!). Also, it would be great if you could use rubies/gems to upgrade the maximum amount of energy you can save up. Like 50 rubies to upgrade to a 10 energy maximum. Also, maybe you could make the battle thingy (where you hit L/R to face oncoming orcs to defeat them) somehow related to learning Japanese (にほんご). My idea, should you chose to implement this is to give, instead of L/R you have two hiragana/katakana (katakana to expand learning opportunities) characters and a sound is played representing one of the two characters when an orc appears from the side, and you face & kill the or if you picked the right one, or die if you didn’t. Again, I really like this game and think that it’s especially great because of the lack of games (that teach Japanese) that aren’t, like, memory cards, on IOS. Great job!
Someone else said the opening could give a bad impression, and seeing it I thought it was gonna be a kinda lame game, but I was wrong!
It was four stars but now it is a ONE STAR because there HAD TO BE a stinkin’ CHOICES AD
This is great for review
I was going through the Japanese learning apps and downloading a few that caught my eye when I came across this cute little app. I started playing and I will say, it's absolutely worth it. I HIGHLY suggest getting another app to teach you the basics mainly because it doesn't do a lesson or any other kind of study method and you only see the key to what everything means once before you start playing, but if you have any other app and want to review, this is certainly something I suggest.
