Inferior to most restaurant apps
I’ve had a ton of issues with this app. I order for accounts quite frequently, but there’s no ability to look at past orders. If I need a receipt, there’s a form to fill out and request online? Come on, that’s just ridiculous. There’s no reason order history can’t be included on my account.
I’ve also had issues with the app not transmitting my order to the store. If I hadn’t called to verify, I would’ve had a lot of last minute surprises.
With Panera and Corner Bakery offering similar service, I can see Jason’s Deli losing business unless this app is made much more user friendly.
App is Horrible
I didn’t even realize there was a new version of the app. When I opened the app on my phone, it had a pop-up at the top encouraging me to download the app which I thought was odd considering I was using the app. I didn’t know there was a new version until I went to write a review for it and my option was “Get” as opposed to “Open.” So I go and set up my account on the new app. Why? I don’t know. You can’t save payment information so every time you order you have to whip out your card and enter that information in every time. I also noticed that after ordering the Salad Bar, if you decide to add another item, you can’t do it without adding another Salad Bar to the total. That is INSANE! Jason’s Deli would do well to hire some professional or at least somewhat competent app developers. But looking through the reviews going back some time, it doesn’t seem like Jason’s Deli is interested in improving their app.

Not user friendly and too many glitches
The app needs to be simplified. When placing the order you confirm the order and pay it says you owe nothing once payment has been accepted. You have to wait and confirm again or the order will not go through. Even if you do confirm twice and get the second screen the order doesn’t go through to the restaurant. When I arrived to pick up my order. They couldn’t find it. I was sent to go through the drive through to re order however I already paid for it and it showed on my end I did but not on their end until 5 minutes after I got to the restaurant. This app make me not want to order anything from Jason’s Deli. The other restaurant apps much more user friendly and never had any issue with orders not going through.
