Predatory liars
Product was working fine, app isn’t ideal but functional. Now the latest update, with zero notification, has full screen ads every time you open the app. These are absurd ads for borderline illegal content, seems to mostly be phishing to steal data. Worst of all these are full screen ads to use a product that was purchased. It’s like having to watch an ad to listen to music you literally purchased, it’s insane and shows just how rotten the center has become. Not only will I never buy another product from this company I’m going to actively encourage every person I know to do the same.
Birds great, ads terrible
I loved opening the app to see the birds at my feeder.
But now there’s full screen predatory ads every time I open the app. Very disheartening and it completely ruins this product for me.
Unfortunately you won’t know about this until after you’ve purchased the product, but if you somehow read the reviews before buying the camera, DONT BUY IT
What’s up with the ads now?
I’ve been using this app with my bird cam since Christmas. It has had a few glitches here and there but has worked fine. Now after a software update, I find I must watch a few seconds of an ad to see my footage. It is annoying and unwelcome. It very much decreases the experience, and I will not purchase any further items from this company.
