Koala Sampler 4+

This is one of the best apps ever to be released on iOS for music production (and I've tried just about everything).

It was great when it was first released. I can't imagine really any complaints on that original app. However, since then, the developer has been relentless with subsequent updates to improve it further. We're not talking about small updates - these are major features being added after the dev has already collected your money for the price of admission. He's added a synth, he's added a mixer with all kinds of built in Fx, he's added a stem splitter, he added Mac functionality - the list goes on and on. Some of these have been optional updates and there's been a small cost to add them on but the value is insane if you look at how much the app has improved over time.

For the people saying the app isn't as good on Mac compared to iOS - you may want to give it another try. He added Mac after the iOS release and it's always lagged behind a tad as iOS is the primary platform (Mac is just a bonus for us spoiled consumers). While Mac does lag a bit behind on the updates - it's still an amazing app and he continues to update it once iOS gets an update.

If you make music and you have even a passing interest in sampling, this is a no-brainer. Especially on iOS but also on Mac. Huge value - very impressed customer here!

This definately helps my workflow with the ability to transfer projects to my desktop from my phone.. My phone is perfect when i'm away but it can get somewhat cumbersome when you're trying to quickly import and sample sounds and ideas... Salute and thanks for making a great project #KoalaGang

While there is no specific award available called the Most Valuable App Award, if it did exist, Koala would win it every year until the end of time probably. Koala is among my most frequently used apps out of every app that was ever made.
