The first two devotions are provided along with other content for free after installing the app. Monthly subscription for US$1.99/month is required to continue daily devotions and to view additional content.
If you choose to subscribe, your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will automatically be charged at the same price for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period unless you change your subscription preferences in your account settings. You can manage your subscriptions through your Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period.

Subscription only
There are so many Bible apps for free, I assumed this one would be also, but no. You get 2 daily devotions and the 12 steps and then you have to pay $1.99/mo to get anything else. I know it’s not a lot, but still, it’s disappointing to me. I think it should be by donation only. I am on a fixed income and I can’t afford it. I don’t even have internet or cable so I won’t be subscribing to this app.

App created 4 years ago and never updated. Doesn’t sound even safe. Even the description notes that there is little free content. And a MONTHLY subscription?
The positive review is likely fake.
Disappointed
I got this to supplement the hard cover book I bought, but it has no LRB content, only additional products with monthly fees.
