Lock Notes - Passcode Protect 4+

Although I just got it, it seems that there are positives and negatives for this.

On a positive, I’ve been looking for something like this, as my generic notes app has taken up over a GB of space, even if I offload it, delete notes, or try anything! I’m hoping that this will fix the problem and I can at least get some notes from being hard deleted!

I’m sure I won’t be able to completely get everything off, but I’ll figure it out. The fact that I can export notes as images is something I wanted and have to experiment on.

The negative thing is it doesn’t have titles, subheading, or heading capabilities that I can see. But that’s the only thing I have any issue with, so, it’s not that bad.

Overall, this will save me a lot of headaches (hopefully), in the long run, but it could be improved.

I use Lock Notes to temporarily keep records and maintain information I need to have handy on my iPhone. I've used it for to-do lists, phone numbers, ID numbers, account numbers and password reminders. I've set it to use Face ID so that if I tap the app button, Lock Notes opens for me. Anyone else will be able to open it without the passcode, which I've memorized and not written down. The Lock Notes app is extremely handy whenever I'm away from my home and files but find I need to provide personal info I haven't memorized. Lock Notes has made so many regular tasks not only easier but much more secure. Best app purchase I've made in years!

Generally, it does what it is supposed to do which is keep your notes private with the passcode entry. However, there are some flaws: if you backup your phone and transfer your data to a new phone, the passcode is lost during the transfer. It will no longer require a passcode on the new phone and you will need to set it up again. Just a thought if you don’t open it often and think your notes are still secure after getting a new phone or if you are dealing with a nosy person. Secondly, I believe this new update does not support the app so whenever I try to open my notes it quits immediately. I cannot access my notes. I’m not sure if this will fix itself with an app update or if they are lost forever. Lastly, the app offers very basic formatting changes. I see this as a con but others may not care.
