Temporary Assessment

Although I just got it, it seems that there are positives and negatives for this.

On a positive, I’ve been looking for something like this, as my generic notes app has taken up over a GB of space, even if I offload it, delete notes, or try anything! I’m hoping that this will fix the problem and I can at least get some notes from being hard deleted!

I’m sure I won’t be able to completely get everything off, but I’ll figure it out. The fact that I can export notes as images is something I wanted and have to experiment on.

The negative thing is it doesn’t have titles, subheading, or heading capabilities that I can see. But that’s the only thing I have any issue with, so, it’s not that bad.

Overall, this will save me a lot of headaches (hopefully), in the long run, but it could be improved.

Basic App with Security Flaws

Generally, it does what it is supposed to do which is keep your notes private with the passcode entry. However, there are some flaws: if you backup your phone and transfer your data to a new phone, the passcode is lost during the transfer. It will no longer require a passcode on the new phone and you will need to set it up again. Just a thought if you don’t open it often and think your notes are still secure after getting a new phone or if you are dealing with a nosy person. Secondly, I believe this new update does not support the app so whenever I try to open my notes it quits immediately. I cannot access my notes. I’m not sure if this will fix itself with an app update or if they are lost forever. Lastly, the app offers very basic formatting changes. I see this as a con but others may not care.

this app was seemingly perfect to me. it has a nice looking icon, simple but charming design, you can adjust the font size and style, it's easier to make text bold, italic, underlined etc than in regular notes, it has a fully functional password system, it doesn't crash (at least it didn't for me).
excited, i went and wrote an entire chapter of a story i've been working on. 3000 words+. spent about 2-3 hours. came back the next day, went into the folder, and as i clicked on the note, it glitched and disappeared.
i'll probably never be able to replicate exactly what i wrote there and it's fine, i'll just rewrite it in a better app. it's just annoying that i went and wasted this much time for basically no result in the end.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP IF YOU WANT YOUR NOTES TO STAY. NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU BACK UP, THEY WILL DISAPPEAR. FIND SOMETHING BETTER. TRUST THE REVIEWS.
I hope you're going to fix this someday because it was genuinely really pleasant to write in. I'll definitely redownload once i've made sure that you've fixed this issue.
