Loop makes setting timers easier, faster and more beautiful. Start multiple (interval, Tabata, and cooking) timers, create presets, import your own sounds and so much more!
- Easy Start:
The start screen shows the most recently started timers and your favorites. One tap is enough to start a timer. You can also create a new quick timer with natural text input: Simply type something like "1h Work, 30m Break" to create a timer with two intervals. Any number of timers can be started in parallel. The first timers will be displayed as nested rings.
- Automatic Reset:
After a timer expires, the app plays a sound and the timer automatically resets, so you can start it again immediately. Alternatively, you can configure a timer to play the sound like an alarm until you disable it. Loop supports AlarmKit so the alarm is also shown on your Apple Watch (requires at least iOS or iPadOS 26).
- Presets:
You can save your favorite timers as presets, which can be started with a tap. You can use text or an icon for your presets, and also change the color as you like. You can create multiple categories for your presets, with each category able to customize the app’s default settings.
- Interval Timers:
You can create interval timers and save them as Presets. The app plays a sound for each elapsed interval and displays it as a small dash on the ring. Additionally, you can name each of them, select repetitions for the intervals, or make the timer repeat automatically.
- Choose Sounds:
In addition to many included sounds, you can also import your own sound files from the Files app. Start, Finish, Reset, Interval, and Background sound can be selected separately.
- Meditation Sounds:
You can activate a background sound such as ocean waves or white noise in the settings, which will then be played when a timer is running. It is also possible to switch off the screen in order to concentrate fully on your meditation.
- iCloud Sync:
Your timers, settings, and sounds sync with your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac.
- Push Notifications & Live Activities:
Loop will send you a push notification when the app is closed if a timer or interval has expired. The sounds selected in the app will also be used for the notification. In addition, a live activity is displayed when timers are running.
- And More:
Custom app icons, Apple Watch integration, HealthKit support, configure when the screen should stay awake, and countless further options.

I had been using MULTITIMER for years for my multi-interval timing needs. Unfortunately, it became less reliable over time, and the watch interface especially was suffering. So I went looking for a replacement.Enter "LOOP".I found Loop to be a MUCH simpler to program than Multitimer. But best of all, it plays nice, CLEAR AND LOUD sound effects through the Apple Watch! Until Loop, I never thought the watch capable of more than a couple pre-programmed noises. Not so! Combined with the ability to upload your own custom sounds, Loop is extremely personalizable.More watch apps that rely on sound effects to get your attention need to have customizable sounds. Otherwise, they DON'T get your attention, because you hear the same thing all the time and subconsciously learn to ignore it.At one point, I wrote the author to request the ability to stop a repeating final alarm by pressing one of the physical buttons on the phone (or watch), the same way you can silence incoming phone calls. He agreed that it sounded like a good idea, but cautioned me it might be a while before he had time to implement it. Lo and behold, barely one week passed before he posted a Loop update that included my request on top of several other handy enhancements! Kudos! So if you're in the market for an easy-to-use interval timer that has GREAT Apple Watch functionality, this app's for you!
Version 4 adds new features, refines old ones

I’m happy to report that the latest version of Loop has fixed the issues I encountered with text input breaking the Mac app. The feature can now be toggled from the settings UI, and it now works normally across my devices. (Previously, I had to disable syncing temporarily and manually edit the preferences file to turn this off.) The addition of categories for sorting presets is nice, and it could seal the deal for users of other apps with a similar feature who were holding off on trying Loop.
Promising but a bit confusing

I’m trying to find a way to show the interval (cycle) timer rather than the total time remaining but I don’t know how or if it’s possible at all. At least now it’s not showing multiple timers on the Lock Screen for a single active timer after the latest bug fix release.Update:Revisiting my review and updating it to 5 stars (from the previous 3 stars). The changes and the constant effort the developer has shown to address the problems and constantly enhance the app are commendable.
Developer Response
Hi, multiple live activities are „stacked“ on the Lock Screen. You need to tap on the topmost to see all live activities. If that doesn’t work, please restart your phone.Edit: With Loop 2.6, interval information can now also be shown in the live activity. Hope that you like the update.
Awesome!

Best app I’ve found in a while. I’ve been looking for a routine timer app: with a one-time purchase option, Apple Watch Support, and Live Activities. So the extras like natural language input, the cool advanced timer screen, and customization options go bananas. So, I’m thrilled. Great work! I would love to see a more refined home interface, maybe a list option instead of the orbs and their containers? That would be awesome. Anyway, top-tier app.
This version fixes an issue where keyboard shortcuts didn’t work correctly in certain situations.
