Lorex Cloud 4+

Had this for awhile no issues. Bought new iPhone 15 pro and the pictures are cropped. Works fine on iPad 11 pro (3rd generation) and all of the older iphones that were used. App is for the most part unusable with an iPhone 15 pro. Changed every setting I could find on the app w/no change. Don’t say call an 800 # cuz I don’t have all day for them to not know a fix.

Just had a custom guy install “cameras” he used lorex.. the apps are terrrible, there is no quick way at all to go to playback and half the time it just spins anyway. I have two different sites, and between cameras there is a page of blank cameras you have to scroll past. The only way you would catch something is if you knew exactly when something went missing and had time to go back on a tv.. not a app and search that specific camera for that specific time. I used cellular game cameras before and will probably put them back up just so I have a feed of motion at night I can scroll quick and all cameras come to one feed. Scroll it 5 min, you know all that happened everywhere.

I’ve bought my lorex system because my step dad does low voltage/audio/visual and recommend them.

The cameras work great but there software is absolutely terrible. I’ve made so many adjustments to try and get them to correctly motion detect. It will notify me all night long if a bug flys by the IR, but won’t give me a notification for a human.

I just had a friend move my grill on my deck, he drove up, walked around my property, went on my deck and moved it close to my sliding door with out a single notification. Moose will walk by and nothing. I’ve messed with the settings like above, even had a friend walk around the property to trigger it.

Lastly the app is terrible, when you do get a notification, you click it and it takes you to the active camera. The play back feature is impossible to use. Very cumbersome.

For the price of the system, the software has missed it mark. Please update the app and software please?!!
