Lost Lands: HOG 4+

Could use...

.. an energy-restore overhaul. I love the game and have even purchased the 4 sequels of Lost Lands! Although I had expected the HO scenes to be repetitive, I didn't expect the energy-restoration feature would take as long as it does. I'd return to, or stay in the game much longer if the energy-restore was slightly more efficient. Another complaint is for the staff key awarded (OR LACK THEREOF!!!) for the Mage tower: I've played 6-10 scenes in a row that offer the staff key but was awarded none - ZERO - after those game plays. My current quest is to search the Mage tower in night mode 4x but I cannot even collect 4 staff keys to even be able to cycle through the daytime-mode plays in order to hit one nighttime gameplay mode.

My last complaint is the overall regeneration timers do NOT continue counting down while exploring a scene or during mini-games provided by chests. I was severely disappointed at the timer being paused for all the weapons, keys, experience, or collection items that are generated periodically in buildings...

I'd play this game more frequently or for longer durations if these features were a bit more efficient but alas I find myself leaving the game after less than 30 mins of gameplay!

Problems (updated)

Even newer edit!: There are no more quests for me to do and there’s only one sitting there that says "a new update is coming" for about a month now. If there will be no update, I will go ahead and delete the app.
(New edit: It would be nice if the game would save my sound settings. Having to make sure my volume is turned down before starting the game, lest I wake the whole house, gets old.) (Edit:The developer contacted me and said the issue was resolved.) Fortunately I thought I'd wait to delete the game and now I'm able to keep playing. Many thanks to the developer for the response! This game is a good one that's not too demanding of time. However, everything has been going great as I've been playing for a couple of weeks. Until last night. The game just stopped loading. Can't get past the opening screen. Had to delete it after several attempts.

Annoying but addictive

The timer to restore energy to play any of the hidden object games limits gameplay. Additionally it is very repetitive because you have to keep looking for the same items in the same places repeatedly to get enough items to progress. If you intend to do this without in game purchases, this will be a very long process.
Nonetheless, it is kind of fun to play for a few minutes before bed and I find myself playing for the last few weeks.
