Lowake is a remote-trigger alarm for people with type 1 diabetes who sleep through their CGM.
When a continuous glucose monitor flags a dangerous low at 3 a.m., and CGM alerts and phone calls don't wake them up. Lowake gives someone you trust a way to cut through.
HOW IT WORKS
• You install Lowake and share a private wake link with the people you trust.
• When it matters, a caregiver opens the link, enters their name, and taps "Send alarm."
• Within seconds your iPhone sounds a full-screen alarm at full volume — through the built-in speaker.
WHY IT WAKES YOU
Lowake uses the same system alarm capability as the Clock app, so the alarm:
• plays through the iPhone speaker even when AirPods or wired headphones are connected
• bypasses Silent mode, Focus, and Do Not Disturb
• fires even if the app has been closed
SIMPLE AND PRIVATE
• No account, no password, no ads, no tracking.
• You choose the alarm sound.
• Revoke access anytime — it instantly invalidates the old link and clears everyone.
IMPORTANT
Lowake is not a medical device. It does not monitor glucose and is not a substitute for your CGM, its alerts, or medical care. It is a supplementary alarm that a caregiver triggers manually. Always follow your diabetes care plan.
