Lumo by Proton 4+

The option to clear the history (like one of the screenshots claims) is not easy to find (you have to go to the menu and then choose the chat with the three dots). This could be made more intuitive and prominent.

I also do not see a Ghost Mode to ensure that chat history is not saved. There is nothing in Settings->General.

I hope this is fixed soon and that the app itself provides a short tour on these key privacy features.

Hi there!

Ghost mode is available in the top right of the screen when you are logged in. It's not shown in Guest mode since chats are not persisted, so ghost mode is not required.

You don't see the delete all option for the chat for the same reason, you need to be logged in to have saved chats.

In "guest" mode as we call it, any chat you make is gone as soon as you create a new one. Privacy by default :)

Perfect truly private ai assistant. Could be better

First off, as an AI assistant, so thankful for an actually private one. Secondly, I would love to see more ability for Lumo to be able to do certain things in other proton apps, like adding events to the proton calendar, definitely creating documents that go strait into proton docs and drive.

I would also like a fix… occasionally I’ve seen where Lumo just stops being able to respond and you keep hitting retry and it doesn’t work. But overall I find it to be very good for where it’s at, but it could definitely be better implemented in the entire proton suite ( or parts of it at least).

Also love how you Lumo uses brave search, but that’s just cuz I love brave haha

i also asked it “when was proton drive released”

it said:

which is not true at all when official sources say september 2022
