Max - Pill reminder 4+

So helpful!!

I got this app when our elderly greyhound broke her leg. We had her surgery completed and she came home with tons of medications that were administered at various times and doses. This was terrifying to me being that I can barely remember to take a multivitamin.
This made the process of scheduling and reminding me to give her the medication on time (and even log it if I wasn’t on time) a breeze. I’m so thankful to have found this right when I needed it most. It will even mimic a call to remind you. Genius! Once the development of this app progresses, it would be amazing to add notes on medication symptoms, reactions, dosage, and reasons for skipping a dose to the list. (And changing dosage time if we need to!!) This would be helpful to share with the vet to provide general patterns of behavior and progress with the medications. Either way, I’m over the moon with this and will recommend it to everyone I know-including the surgeon who performed her surgery for their patrons. Thanks so much for this app and I’ll be hanging onto it for the future.

Cute, simple, rare single-purpose app

If you’re the kind of person who needs a reminder to take your meds, chances are you’re also the kind of person who doesn’t want or need to be bogged down by dozens of features, bells and whistles, and general junk. Max knows its job and does that job well. I do think the app is a little bit under-developed, and I hope the devs can expand on its functionality somewhat. One thing I wish you could do is mark meds as taken for previous days. I take one pill at bedtime and sometimes that ends up being past midnight, so I can’t mark it as taken for that day. It would also be nice to toggle the call reminders on and off for each medication; I want Max to give me a ring for my morning meds but not late at night. But these are small complaints— I’m overall very happy with my virtual service dog! 😊

Great app, fun reminders and works well!

As a recent kidney transplant recipient, I was doing well managing my meds until one day, I thought I took my morning meds before leaving for work, but apparently did not. Never again I vowed, so I went looking to an app to ensure I never miss another dose. I decided to try Max and it’s an awesome reminder app. I get reminders at my regular times to take the medicines and it I confirm when I’ve done so. On top of that, if I haven’t confirmed, it will notify me by msg on my iPhone and Apple Watch. If I still don’t acknowledge (say
I’m not carrying my phone or wearing my watch) it calls my phone and when I answer
I get Max barking (he’s a dog btw) at me to take my meds. All in all, a great app and fun too!
