Description

A programming language inspired by Prolog

This is a sandbox for you to discover the programming language "Melbourne". This language is rules-based engine inspired by Prolog but with a syntax very close to natural languages and with additional functions. It can solve complex problems based of hundreds of encapsulated rules such as the recognition of 4-notes chords or be an alternative to access non structured knowledge database. The app in divided into two text editors : the one on the top is for entering the knowledges and the rules, the one on the bottom is the console and dedicated for your queries. Three buttons at the top are for saving & loading knowledges and rules and accessing the help section. You will find a detailed introduction of the language in the "Help" section of the App or on the official site www.melbourne-language.org. The version of the language in the Sandbox is 1.0.
