Ratings and Reviews
Bad onscreen controls + hard difficulty ramp = frustrating
The story is interesting, the art is really good, but the on-screen controls make this so much harder than it needs to be. The timing to hit an enemy (especially a flying one) has to be really precise with the tiny, weak weapon you start with. Missing the right button a few times and then having to restart a large level from way back at the beginning with respawned enemies makes for a very frustrating experience. There’s also an issue of some enemies being hidden behind your sword or jump button when you enter a screen, which adds a lot of stress. Hard difficulty ramps in games are fine (Celeste, super meat boy), but when the controls are getting in the way, it makes me want to ragequit. Going to try a MFI controller with it at some point, but that really cuts down on the mobility.
Developer Response ,
Hello,
We've made the controls customizable now if you go into the pause menu. You can move them around. Thanks!

Should have listened to the other reviews
Spent money on this because it looked neat. Looking for a good 2D adventure platformer. Right out of the gate the controls were awful and janky. Buttons too close together and not very responsive. I saw something about the developers adding the ability to customize them but looked in the options and found nothing. I had to GO BACK to the reviews here to discover you customize them from the pause menu.
So I adjusted them appropriately and started playing, feeling pretty alright about them. I get into the caves (the very first area) and the combat feels janky and awkward, but whatever I’ll keep going. Suddenly out of nowhere as I’m playing my “down” button gets overlapped with my “right” button. So I go into the pause menu to move it, and as I try to move it, it disappears and somehow overlaps with the “down” button. So now I have a “left” button and a “down” button that also moves me right, but sometimes moves me down???
Big bummer, I was looking forward to this one.
Game fails to launch on iOS 15.6
The game fails to launch on iOS 15.6. I tried to launch game on iPod Touch 7th gen iOS 15.6 and iPad 6th gen iOS 15.6. Please fix. I've seen this game on other platforms, so I know it's supposed to be good. If we could just get this fixed, we have the makings of a good game.
