Description

What exactly IS MindPump? MindPump is an online radio show that has been described as Howard Stern meets fitness. It is sometimes raw, sometimes shocking and is always entertaining and informative. Your hosts, Sal Di Stefano, Adam Schafer and Justin Andrews have over 40 years of combined fitness experience as personal trainers, club managers, IFBB fitness competitors and fitness thought leaders.

The fitness world is filled with charlatans and snake oil salesmen pushing the latest and greatest (and sometimes downright dangerous) workout programs, supplements and faux science on the unsuspecting masses.

If you're a fan of the show you won't want to be without it!

Looking for a great fitness podcast? Stop! You’ve found it!

If you’re looking for a great fitness podcast, look no further. These guys each have about 20 years of experience training people and are extremely knowledgeable in the fitness space. I’ve listened to the guys for almost a year now & can definitely say they have a listener for as long as their show airs. They do not only discuss fitness but get into their personal lives & relevant topics going on in the world (& sometimes some completely random stuff). In addition to the useful content they provide, they also connect you & introduce you to other knowledgeable people in the space. They are a great resource for knowledge in general. If you incorporate a bit of what they taught their clients into your life, I guarantee you’ll start feeling/performing better almost immediately. They give plenty of great free info & also offer great detailed workout programs for purchase. Anytime I’m discussing anything fitness related my comment always starts with “well the mind pump guys said ....” . Thank you to Sal, Justin Adam and of course Doug for a great podcast & for the amazing content you guys put out. You guys have literally changed my life by making me approach fitness as a lifestyle. I can’t wait to restart my MAPS Anabolic program once my home gym arrives sometime next month.

!!!Life Changing Podcast!!!

What an Amazing authentic Podcast! Sal, Justin, Adam, and Doug have completely changed the way I view health, fitness, and overall wellness. The guys do an excellent job navigating through all the B.S. of social media fitness trends and fads to bring true and accurate information they’ve acquired through decades of being successful personal trainers, gym managers, and gym owners.

The exercise programming is second to none with a variety programs to meet your goals. Whatever stage of life and fitness you are currently living, your of MindPump has you covered. Currently, I’m running MAPS Anabolic and seeing tremendous results with only hitting the gym 2-3 times a week!

I started listening over 8 months ago for the fitness advice, but I KEEP LISTENING because of the INTRO where the guys discuss variety of current topics, fitness info, and interesting studies. They talk about everything from tin foil hat theories, real estate info, entrepreneurship, and parenting. They do great interviews throughout the health and wellness space, constantly seeking quality content for their listeners. This podcast has helped me become a stronger, more confident man, a better husband, and a more involved father.

Review update after 5 years

I started listening to MP at maybe episode 100 and loved it for many years. The info was great, gave me some insight into how I could manage my health, lots of resources to check into, and I bought their programs. They were funny and had great banter. I currently work with a trainer who is on board with MP ideology as well. Now, I have stopped listening to the podcast and following all social media, however, as the show has spiraled into a constant hissy fit about government and “weak” people and how superior they are as men and “leaders”. It’s absolutely mind blowing how awful it is to listen to now and it is not worth the wonderful information they share on health and wellness. If you’re a narcissist and libertarian bordering on conservative or straight up Trump supporter, you might love the messages shared throughout the podcast. You might agree with their viewpoints and ideas on how to “toughen up” the world and fix government. I’m not even like a die hard either way in politics, I just wanted quality fitness advice without politicization of anything; I get that enough at family gatherings. Plain, old quality fitness advice doesn’t exist here anymore. Their brand has changed whether they think so or not (used to be freshly authentic and now just feels like catering to a really brash and egotistical audience). Disappointing. 2 stars for the fitness advice. Thanks for the good years; I’ll probably still hit up the older episodes.
