Mindful Affirmations is designed to provide you easy access to a wide range of positive affirmations tailored to your own goals. The affirmations can be played while relaxing, or in the background while doing everyday tasks such as brushing your teeth, or waiting for the bus. The idea is that your subconscious can absorb positive affirmations played as background noise, and this way, train your brain toward a more positive mindset.

We all have areas in our lives that we think negatively about - it’s completely normal - may it be your work situation, relationships or stress and anxiety management. Sometimes it might even feel like these thoughts are taking over all of your thoughts.

Good news is - as these negative thoughts are trained behaviour, it is possible (and quite easy) to train the brain in the opposite direction - to think more positively!

Affirmations are a common tool in CBT psychology and life coaching, and proven to have a positive effect on our minds and personal development. By making a habit of listening to, and recording, a series of positive affirmations, we are able to improve common daily struggles such as stress, low self esteem, and motivation.

For further reinforcement, you also have the option to record the affirmations yourself, and listen to your own voice.

Make a habit of listening to your affirmations daily, for at least 5 minutes. As with any new habit, it’s easier to incorporate a new habit to an already existing one!
Listening to affirmations work the best when you are able to take a break and fully absorb the affirmations. Having said this however, we know that life can get busy sometimes, which is while we recommend keeping affirmations on in the background while doing daily tasks such as commuting, or brushing your teeth.
We recommend that listening to your affirmations daily for at least a month before expecting visible results. New research actually shows that it takes on average 60 days to form new behaviours and habits, so keep this in mind too!

Affirmations become more effective when you recite, or listen to them regularly. It can take time and work to reprogram your subconscious mind from past negative programming to positive empowering beliefs. Like anything, the more effort and energy you put in the more immediate and obvious the results will be.

The more often you affirm something, the more your mind will accept it, thereby reaping positive changes in your life. Positive affirmations are the first step in creating the mindset you need to achieve your goals. The next step is then taking the appropriate action to see your vision become a reality.

love it

I’ve used the app for a few days only, and I’m already feeling more positive in my daily life.
Listening to positive affirmations on my way to work every day has helped me manage my stress and anxiety, and has been a good addition to my usual self care routine, and a good starting point for a more mindful day.

Hopes too high

I saw this app and it’s simplicity and immediately loved it. But after getting on I realized none of my own affirmations save. I would love to create my own since so many of the affirmations given on the app you have to pay for. Which is another thing there are only about 3-4 affirmations that I’m able to listen to for free and the others require you to pay for subscription. I was also excited about the journals you are able to write but again you have to pay for it! It doesn’t seem like a lot of money but it would be so much more fun/ effective if it was free.

I really appreciate your feedback, it's true that we had an issue with creating your own affirmations that and it has been fixed now. I know this can be frustrating and I apologize for this, I hope you can give the app a 2nd chance.

About the pricing, this project is run only by me and I can barely live from it. I do it because I'm passionate about mental health and I've been suffering from it for a while. I wanted to create a tool that could help me and other people in a situation similar to mine. I believe mental health should be accessible to everyone and this is why all the content in the app is free. Every single affirmation is free and you can practice them in front of a mirror. What I charge for is the ability to play and record them in your own device. I think is a fair way to make a living while also being able to help people who can't afford to pay for a full subscription.

I left a review before I was able to truly try the app out of frustration. But after speaking with Joan, I am so incredibly impressed. I loved the app for the little I was able to use but because of a bug was unable to use the app to its fullest capability. I support this app 100% and am very thankful for the way Joan responded to my frustrations. Incredible support & am still recommending to my friends and family
