Great app that connects you to a team of supportive, helpful, and empathic specialists

Highly recommend this app and this vet

Modern Animal is our vet choice in LA. If I ever have a question or photo of something regarding my dogs health at any time of day, a person in the chat is always there to respond and provide solutions. They also have an amazing no contact drop off at their office - you can either wait in the lot or grab a bite to eat around the corner. Although we have to social distance, the vet makes each visit feel personable by video calls during the exam for the diagnosis. They also offer sparkling water and Stumptown Cold Brew while you wait.

I recently traveled with my dog and she had some concerning health issues while out of state - the Modern Animal staff worked diligently to help me find the top vet hospitals in my area and sent out records to each location.

CS & Ops team need help

been a fan of MA since day one. living in LA and after getting our first dog, i wanted the best care for her. my husband and i found MA in weho and loved the idea of app based care management. her appointments were seamless, offices were impeccable, refilling her medication was easy and communication between us and her provider was above amazing.
in this last year, there’s been a dramatic shift in quality of service. especially around her medications. lots of gaps in communication- they rose no awareness about how often she’d be seen for pill reevaluations, checking in about her prescription status to find out it was never sent in the first place, vaccines or other various updates. also, shortages of her medications in shipments…is kinda unacceptable.
everyone who works there is so great at their job. either the agents in chat, the doctors to the nurse team- everyone is doing their best. there just doesn’t seem to be a platform that’s connecting the lines of communication between these teams. information doesn’t seem to transfer over really well.

transparency isn’t really there, which was why i came to MA in the first place. MA has grown so much over the last couple of years since we’ve joined and it’s been really cool to see it happen. however, if this doesn’t improve- this membership is no longer for us. good luck guys!

Such a great team!

I wanted to thank the team at the Manhattan beach Modern Animal office. All the offices are awesome and I should have thanked each and every one of you before! The 24 hour care chat…and video calls. All the doctors and team members at every location. You are all hero’s and appreciated.
Yesterday my experience was with the amazing team of Becky, Daniela, clinic manager Alex, vet nurse Brooklyn, Hallie, Dr. Dunn, and one other vet nurse who’s name I missed… sorry sir!
I have dogs with issues. All rescues. She was just coming in for a vaccine by they noticed something and wasted no time checking it out. The best care for my fur kids and the best of knowledge they share with me. Love modern animal.
Also thanks to Dr. Storm for her help with My fur kids.
