Fixes and improvements. Charts no longer close a note, and pie charts draw every slice clearly, with a grey Other slice when there are more than four. Tapping a table no longer loses what you were typing. Tab and Return now move between table cells, on the on-screen keyboard or a keyboard. To do items only show as overdue once their date has actually passed. Updates now arrive the first time you open Modulo, so fixes reach you sooner.

The biggest update since launch. Your timetable, imported. Subscribe to your university timetable in your phone's calendar and Modulo fills in your modules and term dates. It reads 16 academic calendar systems across 13 countries. Charts. Turn any table into a bar, line, area, stacked bar, scatter, pie, histogram or box plot, with axis titles taken from your own headings. Templates that guide you. Cornell notes, lecture notes, essay plans, active recall and more, with real headings and a question under each one asking what to actually write. To-dos that mean something. Say whether it is a task, an assignment, a reading or revision, give it a week, and the reminders follow. An assignment starts warning you a fortnight out. Revision counts down to its exam. Fonts. Seven of them, including Atkinson Hyperlegible and Lexend, both built for easier reading, plus text size and line spacing. Set them for everything, for one note, or for a few words. Headings, quotes and code, so a long note has a shape. Bold and italic, where you already reach for the highlighter. Everything that was free before is still free.

Modulo now responds to your touch: rows and cards press in, to-dos tick with a little animation, and the haptics match what you're doing. Fixed: going back from a note always returns to your list of weeks.

Version history: tap the clock in any note to go back to an earlier version, or bring back a note you deleted. PDFs in your notes: add lecture slides and handouts from Files, read them in the app, and send them when you share a note. Fixes: more accurate term start dates, and better reminders.
