This brand new update is one of the biggest we’ve ever released to this day and we’re super excited to finally bring it to you! All new features that are listed below are there, thanks to the many feedbacks we’ve received from you! Thank you so much for every single one who has taken the time to send feedback and ideas. We’ve not just added new themes for Moodistory – you can now even change existing or create your own individual themes. Finally, YOU can decide if dark green is more positive than light green, or the other way around. ;-)
We also wanted to give you more choices when it comes to the scaling of your mood. We originally thought that a 6-point scale fits perfectly. But we’ve learned that this doesn’t fit everyone – some users were especially missing a neutral mood. Therefore, you now have the option to define the range of the mood scale: Choose any range between a 2-point up to an 11-point scale.
But what if you already have a lot of diary entries and now would like to switch the scale? - No problem! You just have to make a link between the "old" and the "new" rating levels. Moodistory fully supports this approach, so you can switch to any mood scale, no matter if you have already created entries.
Another new feature is the option to set the start of the week. Previously, Moodistory would automatically use the start of the week that is set on your iPhone. But now, you can simply override this.
While iOS 13 introduced cool new features, it also introduced a few layout glitches to Moodistory. However, this is now a thing of the past.
Our list of activities / events has again increased since we’ve added 4 new items for "Binge eating", "Throw up", "Sick leave" and "Take meds".
Last but not least we took care of some minor bugs, improved some texts and optimized the layout on some screens.

I’m a 23 Male and I have to say I am enjoying this app a ton. You can customize it to be a mans experience rather then a woman’s. Several apps like this are catered to women.
I like having a place to post my feelings and the things I’ve done during the day. It’s also nice that I can go back to any day and read the fond memories or the dumb problems.
I personally haven’t changed anything in my life because of this app but that’s because I’ve only been using it for a week. I fully plan on changing my daily life because of this app.
I also agree your health on iPhones should be connected to this app and also I have no clue if you could partner with Fitbit but that would be great.

So much customization!
I bought this app after seeing a post on Reddit featuring it. I’ve been looking for an app to track my mood and this does it so well! From having intuitive reminders to being able to customize my color theme, I feel like this app does everything I could ask for. I love that you can record what activities you did throughout the day and write a short note about the day. It’s such an awesome app!
My one recommendation would be to integrate Apple’s Activity and/or Health App, if possible. It’d be cool to see how much physical activity you did (or didn’t do) throughout the day to see how it effects your mood. I know nothing about app development, so I don’t know if it’s even possible. Overall I am loving using this app!

Simple but powerful - actually using it
I came across this application incidentally and decided to download it as I had been considering starting a mood / activity journal of some sort for various reasons. I’ve been very impressed. It is easy and intuitive to use, powerful enough to be useful, and I love the opportunity to optionally add free form journal entry to each entry. I’ve used the reminders functionality so that I’m prompted throughout the day to make an entry. I enjoy the UI/UX.
One area I’d like to see improvement on is instead of just a linear scale for mood represented by large frown through to broad smile, the ability to record emotions via an intuitive emotion wheel chart.

We are planning to add the tracking of emotions to Moodistory and using a wheel chart is a very interesting option. We are going to discuss this idea and see how we could integrate it.
