No memorizing the alphabet off a chart. The Koch method hands you two characters and adds the next only when the last ones are solid — you never get bored and never get buried. The app picks today's characters out of the mistakes you made yesterday. Fifteen minutes a day for a couple of weeks and you're hearing letters, not decoding them in your head.
ALREADY HAVE A FIST
Here's something to measure yourself against. Callsign copying scored the RufzXP way: fifty calls, the speed climbing with every clean one, errors biting into your score. Sending judged the way a contest judges it — an uneven fist and uncorrected characters cost you, not just your speed. Game Center leaderboards put a number on where you stand in the world. And you can run all of it on your own brass, not a finger on glass.
AIR THAT DOESN'T GO EASY ON YOU
Forget the clean textbook tone. QSB, QRM, QRN, carrier whistles, key clicks, chirp, a buzzy note — and the faster you work, the rougher it gets. You train in the band you'll actually meet, not in a laboratory.
YOUR BRASS, IN THE APP

Connect your key through a Bluetooth adapter — straight key, bug, iambic paddles, whatever sits on your desk — and work it right here: practice, take the test, chase records. Iambic auto-repeat behaves the way it should; paddles swap sides with one switch. No adapter? A game controller does the job — two buttons, dit and dah.

The Morse keyboard turns iPhone into a paddle: key your messages straight into any app you type in. The converter turns text into dits and dahs, an audio file or a QR image in a second. Dictation keeps your texts and plays them back at any speed when you want blind copy practice.
