Attractive App With Problems

The app looks nice. It should be fantastic. But, it doesn’t do the most basic things well. The two things I need most are easy navigation around the app (to see all the latest news), and to easily watch the races. A super basic problem is if I click on a video news story (the typical kind) and watch it—when it’s over there’s no way to go back to the home screen—they provide a selection of videos at the bottom, but I didn’t choose them. Why is there no option to go back to the home’s one of life’s mysteries that’s beyond comprehension. In short, if it can be fixed to do the two things mentioned above, then it could be five stars. But years have gone by without their realization of this, so it’s hard to expect a change.

Dorna... always sure to charge, but falls short on delivery

I would understand if this app was $20 for the year, but it’s $130. For that price, it should work flawlessly EVERY time... nope, won’t let me watch the races, just keep taking me to the login screen for VideoPass even though I’m logged in already! What it will do though, is spoil all the results for you on their feed! First thing to pop up! I know the results so far for Brno 2019, and lost interest in watching the rest of the weekend. Matter of fact, this will probably be the last time I purchase this. If I could give it zero stars I would. And the fact they try to charge you for everything, like the timing or the live tests... greedy greedy Dorna... at least make your stuff work right if you’re going to charge for live timing separately... Besides, MotoGP has become boring, just change it to the Marc Marquez show and call me in a couple of years when it gets exciting again... maybe, just maybe, by then you’ll pull your heads out of someplace dark located behind you with the performance of your “app”

Better have a laptop/smart TV

This app is absolutely useless if you want to watch practice, qualifying, and races. It just cannot handle it. It freezes, the audio goes on but images are stuck, most often doesn’t even start and when it does, it crashes more often that Jake Dixon and Sam Lowes combined. And it’s not a reception or bandwidth issue at all, I watch F1TV with the same phone with zero issues, despite the lower cost for their subscription. MotoGP provides excellent streaming for your desktop/laptop and for your smart TV (I never have issues there and you can easily have the No Spoiler option appear on your TV or laptop anytime to log in) but their mobile app is complete and utter garbage (ironic that it doesn’t work even on the same WiFi I use for my TV and laptop streaming). If you only have a smart phone, do NOT subscribe because you won’t be able to enjoy the streams properly and you’ll waste your money
