Can’t pay rent via IPhone anymore

This app provides less functionality on iPhone than previous web based portal. It’s design makes it impossible for me to navigate to the final button to submit a rental payment on iPhone, which is ridiculous. I have to use my desktop computer to pay — which kind of defeats the purpose of having a mobile app. Hey, here’s an idea Equity Residential - since you increase my rent automatically every year, why not use some of that cash to build an app I can use on my iPhone? On the upside - I have successfully submitted service requests via iPhone.
P.S. The community features are pointless. Nobody uses them, at least where I live.

Can’t even start using it

I’ve been unsuccessfully trying to login for half an hour. The welcome page asks me to verify my email (instead of sign in?) and when I enter my email it simply waits forever and then errors. The one time I’ve gotten it to continue after trying repeatedly, it didn’t even use my email before asking me to verify my device and sent a text message to my number, at which point it took me to a normal login screen. So what was the point of verifying things? After that, when I tried to log in, it constantly gave me a timed out error, and when I clicked “Trouble logging in?” it sent me back to the original “verify email” screen. After restarting the app I’m now sent to the login screen, but now every time I try to login I get some “Error Connecting” and I’m told to check my internet connection, and I’ve tried both using data and using wifi. What’s worse, when I tried again and accidentally typed my password incorrectly, it correctly told me that my password is incorrect. So clearly there’s some amount of connection here. Possibly the worst app I’ve ever used.

Poor Functionality & Connection

Difficult to navigate and make payments. Always running into error screens saying lack of connectivity to internet when internet is fine with everything else. When payment is actually submitted, I’ll receive another error screen that tells me the payment wasn’t completed, but then I’ll receive an email confirmation after waiting for the app to catch up and process saying it was completed. I nearly paid rent twice this month. If Equity requires rent payment via this app, fixes need to happen because paying rent to a company should be a seamless process.
