QR reader issue

Everytime I try to acan the barcode, it always states it cant be found.

Developer Response ,

Hi enhonemus,
Very sorry you are experiencing an issue. That sounds like a server configuration issue. I'd recommend contacting the person that gave you the barcode and let them know you cannot join the project. Send them the exact message that the app shows.

Worthless.

A nice idea, too bad it doesn’t work. I repeatedly tried to scan the code it doesn’t work there’s the alternative initialization code but there’s no way to enter it. Hopefully these people will finalize and make it useful. Right now it’s worthless.

Developer Response ,

Hi Afeyujhg,

MyCap does not have an alternative initialization code. There is another app called the REDCap Mobile App that does use both QR codes and alternative initialization codes. You might try scanning the QR code you were given using the REDCap Mobile App, using the alternative initialization code with the REDCap Mobile App, or obtaining a QR code that was meant to be used with MyCap.
