The MyGuide app is a customizable content management system designed for neurodiverse users and the people who support them. Myguide users build, schedule, and play interactive multimedia guides about any topic or subject, such as activities, tasks, choices, experiences, rules, social interactions, assignments, medications, references, etc.
Each account includes a robust multimedia toolkit to build, copy, personalize, schedule, and play guides that present information at the right time and in the right format, and encourage user feedback about what they are doing, thinking, and feeling. Guides and their automatically generated reports of utilization data and responses are stored in a private personal library. Users can share access to their private library, their toolkit, and their reports with other authenticated myguide accounts. Users can also access guide samples and templates from a published catalog of guides developed by clinicians, organizations, and other users.
Guides consist of one or more screens that make up one or more sequences, or groups of screens. Guide building tools offer plugins to customize each page with information, prompts, instructions, questions, response options, and more with digital resources like text, images, GIFs, audio, and video that can be customized for size, font, position, and visual effects. Actions can be programmed for any screen or plugin, including visual effects, text-to-speech, go to screen, go to website, add data to report, make media visible or invisible, and more.
