Enjoying the App
I am so pleased that the App is working on my iPhone 6. It had not been working after a recent upgrade, but it is now up and running. It is so convenient and user friendly. Keep it up, Safaricom. You are customer friendly.
If I could do negative stars I would- I bought a SIM card so I could use mpesa and data in country . I used it at the end of October, returned to Kenya in 2cnd week of January and my line had been deactivated and my loaded mpesa account inaccessible. Two different customer care shops said they could not help- we went to the main office in Nairobi- waited for hour and half to be told that we had to go to a shop to reactivate the line(48 hrs) then complete paperwork to request money - another 48 hrs. Agent at the shop was actually good and suggested I open a new line and request mpesa finds be transferred to it in only 24 hours . 45 hours later still no money and I’ve used up airtime trying to call the shop- it rings them disconnects. Terrible service- and you still have my mpesa money!
Is this English or Swahili?
What does PUK mean? What is a Bundle? How does “No expiry” expire???
I ask them several times for the meaning and the agents certainly don’t know, the app always says “No records found” if it even works at all. Be careful using this, I bought 25GB of data last month with “No Expiry” and it just expired! How does that happen? I have never even used more than 2GB a month on my unlimited plan in the States! I try to ask them what does this mean, is it Swahili or English? “Bundle is Bundle.”
Worst of all they don’t even seem to care because they know you haven’t much of a choice, Safari-Con is practically a monopoly.
Be careful spending any money on this service.
