Application/Invitation Manager are useless in the app

I can see that an application or inquiry came in, but that’s about it. I cannot see the Comments in either area, or take any action on applications. I need the same functionality as I have on the website. If I have to open a mobile browser & login to the website to do what I need, then what is the point of the app?

As a key 3 leader, it is frustrating the lack of ability to lookup usable roster info such as parent contact information and rank. It is basically only useful for confirming a name and getting a phone number. Basic info - parent name(s), email and phone should be shown. The web browser on the other hand is beyond overly complex and detailed, with a multitude of confusing, duplicative fields to toggle in or out of a roster report. With the importance of youth protection, relevant parent contact info is paramount. And should be easy to gather. This seems like an obvious function and a frustrating omission.

With feedback and patience, things have improved since this app first launched.As a millennial Scouter, this app works just fine and as intended. Having assisted my… more seasoned fellow Scouters in how to use their phones, once they get the hang of things, they too find the app just fine.

More unhelpful than the original Scoutbook app.

At least with the previous Scoutbook I could stumble around and eventually get to where I needed to go. This new version has completely shut me out of my Scout Troop. And there is no indication within for a help or FAQ link. So until this version somehow becomes useful for me and I can actually evaluate its usefulness for me I stand by my rating. Would like to have something that works and is beneficial but I don’t see this happening in this version.

Enjoy a smoother, more refined experience. We’ve enhanced capabilities and updated key areas for a better workflow.
