The app gives slightly easier access to a few things versus the web site. Responsiveness and page loading are below average. A major problem I have is that quick pay (ie via credit/debit card) is only accessible at the log in screen, separate from the “post my bill” functionality after you log in and is not integrated into your account at all. You need your account number to use the service, but you need to log in to get it, or have a paper bill handy, or copy it from the website. All of which seem make the app less relevant.

This app not very user friendly and is too slow. I am deleting it from my phone and use the website instead. Why have an app, when the website works better?

I know this is just the beginning. But the team has done a very good job in creating a simple Apple that covers the basics that most customers will need. I look forward to seeing updates and the evolution of this app and applaud EVERYONE who worked on this and delivered a working, helpful, convenient, and simple application for us the average customer.

The app will not allow me to login, it continuously says my user ID and password are incorrect and locks me out. I have no difficulty logging into the website on my laptop so I won’t even bother trying to use the app again. It’s a shame, I’ve been a customer with Unitil for almost 15 years and found their antiquated payment options annoying at best. I was happy to hear they were finally going to try jumping into modern technology, but this app has done nothing for me.
