Navigate eReader 2.0 4+

Things were going ok with the app until the update to iOS 16. Now I am no longer able to highlight or annotate any sections. Selecting text now gives me the option to search the web, which while this can be useful, it shouldn’t be the only option. The developer should be able to keep this app up to date with the current version of iOS, especially since iOS 16 has been available to developers for months before it was rolled out for final release.

Not designed well. You are left with an inacute scroll bar on the bottom or you can spam the down key and then the left arrow to proceed to the next page. If you try to use the touch pad on your laptop to scroll through pages it's going to highlight some random words on the page first, you need to click on the screen to remove the highlights and hope that it will actually scroll on your next attempt instead of just highlighting again.

It does a good job at deviding the pages by topics but if the topic is so short that it takes up less than a page you cannot go to the next page. You have to scroll past the bottom of the page for it to allow you to get to the next page. If the section is too short than you cannot scroll down at all which prevents you from getting to the next page.

Just use the eBook on their website and save yourself the headache.

Not sure why this app has such a low rating. Maybe they’ve updated it since? It’s a very simple app for sure but I don’t have any issue reading my books on it and it looks much better than the actual website looks on my phone. I’m taking 1 star off because I did have an issue logging in on this app. The login area was there but I couldn’t see any text on screen so I had to enter my login information and just hope I typed it right. But yea honestly it’s decent, it kind of reminds me of BookShelf by BooksRun minus the bookmarking feature.
