Confusing UI and generally unhelpful app
You have to go to the website from the contact section to get to a point where you access the form for reoccuring ACH. It makes no sense that one-time ach is within “other” services. When an account type is installment loans, “PAY my loan” should be a button from the account page which would bring you into the ach - one time or reoccuring set up wizard. also there’s nothing in my account or an email,etc that tells me that the ach setup was successful and that there are pending ACHs/pending payments tied to my account. So I hope my payment works? I also tried to print my ach setup page using the “print” button on the page- it did nothing. Please prioritize your mobile app on your backlog with your development team.
This app is terrible!!!
This app is incredibly unhelpful. I switched over from Community Bank to NBT Bank recently due to relocation. The Community Bank app is very organized & laid out perfectly. I can see what my charges are in detail, specifically what was taken out/put back in, the dates are always clear, & the font is perfect size with color codes for withdrawal & deposit. This NBT app is absolutely worthless. The font is huge & fat, as if I’m on a child’s game. The set up reminds me of something I would’ve been using back in 2008. It’s not updated & it’s not professional looking at all. It doesn’t have any detail behind the charge. You cannot see if money was deposited or withdrawn, you can hardly tell what’s going on at all. The overall set up is lazy & unorganized. I rely on the app a lot because I’m never at home near a laptop. Even the online banking is pitifully pieced together. I’m very disappointed in the lack of convenience this app brings to me. It needs an update & it needs it fast, please!!
Face ID Not Working to Log In
I never used to have a problem with this app. It’s not very visually appealing, but it’s a banking app so I don’t particularly care. I love that I can take a picture of a check and deposit it that way, which is what I almost always do. For my banking needs, it meets pretty much everything I need.
But within the past month or two, Face ID has stopped working to login. It still saves my account number, but I have to enter my password every time. It’s not the end of the world, but it is inconvenient. I’ve tried turning it on and off in both my phone settings and the app settings, and nothing. Hopefully it will get fixed in a future update because it’s annoying to say the least.
