Description

When the lights are low and you need to move about, what are you going to do? Remove your Vision Pro and find a flashlight? Ridiculous nonsense! Open Night Vision Goggles and see the world around you in vivid color with floors and obstacles plainly visible.

Night Vision Goggles scans your environment to create a full 3D map of safely navigable areas. Color is used to show how much above or below objects are. A grid is displayed to help give you a sense of motion in low light environments - and to enjoy 1980s computer graphics once again. Lastly a little rings are emitted from your location along the ground to help you see where to go.

You'll be amazed how easy it is to move about in the 3D synthetic world around you. With each step, more and more of that environment is scanned and shown. This technology works both indoors and outdoors so you can navigate your home in the evening or wander about a dimly lit park at night.

I do have to post some warnings though: #1 Be careful on stairs! #2 Cute little pets can often move too fast for the scanner to pickup so stay hyper-vigilant!

**Important:** Night Vision Goggles requires *some* light to work and will not work in full darkness. It works when the device says "Low light" but does not work when you lose tracking. This app is for entertainment purposes only and you should not rely on it when your safety is at risk.

OK WOW. this is awesome - and lets be clear - it works.

that said - the app leaves so many things untouched.

for starters, lets have an option to fill in higher resolution with time
and save out grid.. please. :-) the app use the Apple VisionPro's amazing localization tech to create a point cloud, and you can see walls several rooms away, being able to ress them up, and save out a point cloud model of sorts seems like stumbling close options.

Personally I think the name is misleading, as this is not light amplification tech, but the entire idea of LIDAR goggles is pretty dang amazing - maybe update the name to LIDAR goggles?
