We fixed a little Bill Murray – Groundhog’s Day issue: the app now wakes up from suspension and continues where it left off.

We changed the name, because now you can find menus from thousands of K-12 schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, senior living centers, and much more. Nutrislice has ordering! Some locations allow pre-orders on meals through Nutrislice. Your menus will indicate availability. (Some locations allow multi-day ordering, so you can take care of lunch for the whole week in one order.) Filter for allergens! Filters and highlights will help you identify foods that have specific ingredients. When you click on an icon, foods with that ingredient will be crossed out or highlighted. If any foods have incomplete information, they will be marked with a warning icon. (Neither Nutrislice, Inc. nor participating organization can guarantee that allergen information is 100% accurate and current. The nutritional and allergen information that we display is provided by food manufacturers, ingredient suppliers and other third parties.) PLEASE NOTE: Organizations need to sign up with Nutrislice before their menus are available in the app. If you can’t find your location, please contact us at everywhere@nutrislice.com and we’d be happy to reach out and see if we can get them added.

There once was an app named School Lunch who everyone loved quite a bunch. But schools as food venues need an app called School Menus. We think that’ll have a ton more punch! - It’s been a fun year so far: new icon, new design, and now a new name: “School Lunch by Nutrislice” is now called “School Menus by Nutrislice” … because schools serve more than just lunch. - We improved performance: initial load time is 50% faster, and loading new menu pages is about 66% faster. That’s two whole seconds! Don’t spend it all in one place. - We also did some fancy footwork behind the scenes with upgrades that make everything faster and more durable. - To support added native features we now require iOS 8.0 or newer. - The language now defaults to English when no other language is chosen (you did know translations are available in settings, right?) - We also fixed food lists that appeared incorrectly in some cases. We regularly roll out new features and improvements, many of which are automatic and require no upgrades.
