Description

Murder. Conspiracy. Thought Influencers.
Only you can solve the mystery of Base 24. Comb a government base for evidence, catch suspects in their lies, and unravel the truth, no matter how ridiculous it may be!

Enter the comedic and mysterious world of Boomtown USA, a small desert town with big secrets, and help washed-up police sheriff Miranda Warren solve a murder in a secret government base. Investigate every nook and cranny of the crime scene. Even if something's not relevant to the case, your assistant will probably have something to say about it! Use Persuasion to exploit different facets of a witness' psychology to get them to open up to you! Ask questions, push suspects, and present evidence to uncover the truth during Interrogations.

Seven years ago, a missing persons case destroyed the reputation of Sheriff Miranda Warren. Now, a murder case at the same mysterious government base offers her a chance at redemption. But to reach it, she’ll have to deal with a condescending FBI Agent, a suspect who keeps lying to prove his own guilt, and whatever the hell a “Thought Influencer” is.

- Explore a mysterious government base to uncover evidence and jokes!

- Meet a colorful cast of characters and expose their deepest, darkest secrets!
- Unravel a murder mystery Agatha Christie might refer to as "a little much".
- Lovingly illustrated backgrounds and charmingly animated characters.
- Bask in the dulcet tones of a fully original soundtrack!

Love this game :)

I played ace attorney and I really liked that so I went to find more dective, find out the mistery sort of games. And I saw this app and I gave it a try, honestly I glad I did because it’s awesome. The characters are really cool, I also love the plot and the twists and turns in the story. Over all you should definitely play this.

Great game, 2 endings, crashes often

Really fun game with great writing. The artwork style, sound effects, and pacing are all like the Phoenix Wright series. The one negative however is that the game crashes often, and the game doesn't auto save so it doesn't just continue where it crashed when restarted. The first crash happens right after the beginning of act 2. I had to save my game right before the 1st crash and keep playing until it didn't crash. After that, the game would crash every 10 minutes or so, so I saved often. Fun game, there is a "secret ending" which I found, and then the longer true ending. Well worth playing (besides the crashes) and I hope the cases continue, and it is less crash in thefuture!

20 minutes in and I’m bored

There is too much clicking and reading and clicking and more reading and I feel like i’m reading a script. The conversations don’t flow and I don’t feel like I'm doing anything or playing anything. The game seems to play itself as long as I keep clicking, it’ll keep going. Can I find an object or is there something for me to do other than read?

A voice module might be better than reading but I can make an allowance for that but when each person is talking, can you put the name plate in front of that person with their name so I can tell who is talking? It gets confusing.

The cartoon look of it is excellent but it’s not enough to make me read all this back and forth banter, half of which is unnecessary.

This game has promise but it’s just not the right one for me. I’d like to see more investigating and less talking; and when I have to talk, make it short and sweet. Just enough talking so that I get the info I need and it points. Me in a direction.
