This app was what I was looking for.

I would give this one star, except that it worked well, the one time I tried it. I think it’s dishonest and misleading to call it “free” when “free” just means you get to try five scans with it before having to pay $7.99 for a thousand more scans (and there is no other option, i.e. for fewer scans).I don’t scan often, and this misleading and dishonest claim was a waste of my time and energy. I don’t wish to pay for 1,000 scans when I need four. If your app is for-pay, then own that, be proud of it, and don’t use “bait-and-switch” tactics to lure in sales prospects. It leaves your potential clients feeling resentful, and casts you as greedy and misleading, not inspiring trust.

I took a picture of a text image on my desktop and this program converted everything flawlessly, which my ReadIris program didn’t. It ‘s just what I was looking for.

I have no idea why this is getting such negative reviews, but it really does work!! The first time I used it it read everything swimmingly. Strongly recommend.
