Ohio Lottery 17+

Since the update, I can't scan my tickets to redeem points. The original app was working fine and I was always happy with it. Whatever they've done to this app. It's just useless now and it's so frustrating because I have all these tickets and I can't scan them to redeem the points, it will not even scan and let you know if you've won or not. I don't know whether this is a problem that is only restricted to the iPhone, but I was using the iPhone with the app before and it was just fine.
Whatever they've done with the updates please address this. This is so frustrating. I feel like deleting the app.

My phone is in perfect condition, camera lens is clean, tried in many different types of lighting and backgrounds, etc. I still can not get the Scan Tickets camera feature to focus on any of my lottery tickets barcodes. I have tried scratch offs, Mega Millions and Powerball. When I put the whole ticket in the frame the picture is clear and the app can not read the barcode from that distance apparently. (Even though regular apple camera on QRCodes could do this) I move the card or receipt closer to the camera so the barcode is majority of the box like the app recommends and then it turns into a big blurry blob and making the card look like what I can only imagine as what being legally blind would be like. As the app updates are far and few between I would expect this to be fixed anytime soon. Ohio Lottery should really give another company a chance to run the app.

I’ve been using this for over five years. It’s been working fine for me. I have an old phone XR and it scans the tickets perfectly and so does the iPad. I bought a brand new phone in April 2024 and all of a sudden I can’t scan anymore. Doesn’t mean this app is worthless. It’s just a bug that needs to be fixed, because something doesn’t work once doesn’t mean you should give it a one star. you should report it to the lottery office either call them or send them an email. This still works on the iPad and this still works on my old phone for some reason my new phone 15 pro will not work
