Description
Outsidify allows you to manipulate and explore the sounds happening around your smartphone. The microphone and speaker of your phone are hiding exciting potential: create feedback, manipulate resonances, use your mouth as a resonant filter, capture the impulse responses of your coffee cup or the pipe at the construction site you're accidentally passing by. Just have fun. Your imagination is the only limit. Early electronic music was full of exploration of what you can do with just a microphone and speaker. Now it's your time to explore! Go outside and make sounds outside of your phone. What would you Outsidify?

Bastl does digital right
I am not normally huge into software or digital synth products. But after owning the Bastle Kastle & Drum hardware synths (and looking forward to the Kastle Arp), I've been convinced that digital can be done "right" (with an authentic feel).
As soon as l saw this pop up in my news feed it was an insta buy. I've never seen an app make use of feedback this way, and I had a blast just seeing what I can do with this app right away, and this seems like an "analog" way to add feedback effects to a multitude of sounds in new and unexpected ways.
I look forward to seeing what else Bastle comes up, knowing they will take the time to create something truly musical and inspiring.
