Description
parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in. These events take place in pleasant parkland surroundings and we encourage people of every ability to take part; from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience; we welcome you all.
Our App will allow you to explore parkrun, keep an eye on your profile and run results. You can also view your friends' profiles and find out more about other parkruns and view all parkrun results.
If you experience a problem with the app crashing after installation/upgrade, please delete the app and reinstall. Apologies for the inconvenience.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
This update resolves several bugs including:
- crash on app update
- crash on accepting friends
We've also added athlete IDs to the find friend search results to make it easier for you to find parkrun friends to follow.
Ratings and Reviews
Crashes a lot
Every now and again the app will keep crashing when opened. You have to delete it and download it again to fix. I notice if you don't have an active network connection it won't crash on launch but as soon as a active network becomes available it crashes. Such great potential please fix.
This is just so people understand
Parkrun is a weekly 5k at parks. The reason there are only a few you can use it at is because that’s where the events are organized.
Definitely not worth the 1 star
If make you go to a website to register. Once I started to register it only works for a handful park in area that I live in. Advise: change that format. Allow people to put in their area. Or have a feature where a patron using the app to put in a park in their area and have the developers verify it. If I can add food to MyPlate. I’m sure I can add a park to this app. I would recommend ALLTRAILS APP. WAY BETTER.
