Getting the kinks out
It’s been a couple of weeks now, and I think things are beginning to get regular. I watched the truck last week as he did the garbage pickup, and he moved at lightning speed. Impressive. We’ll see how it continues to go. Thanks 👋

I appreciate the videos (that everyone should watch) on what can be recycled and how to prepare it to go in your bin. If you don’t do it correctly it just gets dumped and not recycled. And, the new videos update all of this.
I know the paper that one wants to recycle should be in a clear bag, and not to heavy because if it’s loose it will likely get wet and NOT reclycled. But, I’m having a hard time finding clear bags now. Garbage bags are now mostly black, but not clear. I’ve checked Woodmans and Costco and ended up with very heavy but BIG and clear bags from Costco. I think I may have a lifetime supply!

Pelliterri trash and recycling reminder …
We can’t believe that the company who is actually doing the pickups can’t even get the dates correct when there is a holiday in the week. The wrong information was sent to us the week of Thanksgiving and now Christmas. Our pickup (according to the calendar and our Town of Verona), is a day later than usual for this week - Saturday instead of Friday and again next week.
